Fraser Elementary School All School Arts Day
Professional songwriter Trish Leone will do a series of workshops with students giving a briefing on blues history, educate them on the blues bass guitar and introduce them to beginning songwriting.

Granby Elementary Arts Day
Dan Treanor did a series of workshops teaching kids how to play harmonica & gave a brief history of the blues. Blues society provided and gave students harps.

Fraser Elementary School Bluesical Yaniv Salzberg worked with Lori Oury, Fraser Elementary School Music Teacher to put on a blues musical called “Bluesical”.  Salzberg helped students write songs for the musical and performed at show with kids as a representative of blues society.

Dan Treanor & David Booker did an exclusive 5th grade class harmonica lesson.  Blues society provided and gave students harps.  Dan taught kids a blues riff that they performed with Dan playing guitar the All School Assembly. Dan & teaching origin or blues with song participation and dance. Also did an exclusive 5th grade class harmonica lesson.  Blues society provided and gave students harps.

Fraser Learning Center
Dan Treanor & David Booker sang & danced to blues songs. Introduced kids to guitar and harmonica.  Blues society provided and gave kids harps.

Middle Park High School
Yaniv Salzberg and Andy Irvine. Taught band students blues scale, brief history of blues and had students play blues songs.

East Grand Middle School
All school assembly with Dan Treanor and had high school band “The Cells” perform for Middle School students. The purpose behind it was to show younger classman they can play music too like their upper classmen if they try.

BITS Show at Smokin’ Moe’s with Dan Treanor and Frankie Lee
“African Wind” CD release party. Dinner & manatee show for kids and families. Kids had to pay to get in. Purpose was to show that music isn’t free.  All money benefited BITS program.
