Original Blue Star Colin and Grand County Blues Society board-member John Catt have received Channel 7 Everyday Hero Award. Although John knew Colin was receiving the Everyday Hero Award, neither Colin or John knew they themselves would be receiving this award. Also on hand were Guitar Center staff, thanks so much for your heartfelt effort, new Blue Star, Matthew, huge Blue Star Connection supporter David Strong, Denver Channel 7 anchor Mitch Jelniker and the Blues Vassal, Kai Turner. This all took place at the Guitar Center in Arvada, Colorado while newest Blue Star, Matthew, was picking out his new rig.
