Just before I turned four, I was diagnosed with leukemia. I endured treatment for over three years and am now in remission.  I have a great family and all of us love music. This year in school I decided to take band and needed to pick an instrument to play. After trying all almost all of them, I decided to play the trumpet. I am grateful to Blue Star Connection for helping me get a trumpet to play!
