I had ticket #1, might as well make the first comment too. Another awesome weekend guys! Total blues perfection from the kids through the headliners. No filler, no quasi rock bands, no bluesgrass or pop...just 100% PURE BLUES! This is the best damn Festival in Colorado and best of the west for that matter. Great line-up, killer acts, beautiful venue. Lets give Trampled Under Foot an extra hour onstage next year when they headline No. 8!!!!!!!! Great job GCBS!

Blues From The Top is ran by the music, thats why it stands out. Historic ensembles were formed this weekend. We let the players work out the music and as you can see they have the best ideas. Could not be more pleased with the ingrediants that we provided for thier recipes.

got this from a fan ! This from Jerry in Dallas (cowboy hat....front rower). I just wanted to say we had a great weekend of kick-ass music! I told Michele that I think this was the best we've ever been to!! No kiddin!! We go to a lot of festivals all around the country, and I can't think of one that I've had a better time at, especially in the "overall" experience. I love the way we were treated as adults... with some dignity...security was low, and it wasn't needed. Granted this IS an older crowd (and style of music), but I've been to shows where that wasn't a consideration, and security was un-necessarily over done. Thank you. Speaking of the older demographics... I think the merchandise section could offer more options. The logo for this year was cool! BUT there weren't any options as far as what it was put on, and the color selection was limited. This kind of crowd can afford good gear. Maybe ask Steve from Telluride how his gear does? I personally wanted one of the blue "staff" shirts with the logo on it. White is a magnet for stains on me! :) Just a thought..... The VIP section was awesome! Well run, friendly, courteous, and great food! It too was the best I've experienced. And the jam.... you were there, you know.... dude, it was the BEST "jam" I've ever seen! What a ride! My face hurt the next day, b/c I couldn't stop smilin! All night long!! I go on the Delbert McClinton cruise every year (same kind of "cool" crowd) and every nite they have a jam....so, just considering the cruise.... 5 cruises, 5 jams a cruise, good talent (many of the same acts as yours even) and this one kicked all of their asses! Even ones where I got to play in! Plus all of the others that I've seen.....awesome. Thanks for puttin this all together, it came off great, and we'll be back! Cheers, Jerry n Michele [...]
