Category 5 Blue Star Revue came to Dallas and left with a great sense of accomplishment. We raised some much needed cash, over $5,000 raised in the auction and another $1,000 in a raffle and donations from artists with their cd's or cash. Thank you to everyone that gave or worked non stop to make this so exciting.
     Something else happened that has given us a real shot in the arm. We were able to take donations other than cash and turn them into guitars and amps that were taken to Dallas Childrens Medical Center. Within a few days they will have all they need. Ten guitars with amps and all the other gadgets the kids staying there will need. Also, this helps the instructors or musical therapists accomplish their jobs even better. The smiles on the therapists faces says it all. The smiles on the kids faces will be forthcoming for a long time to come. Thanks, Don and Lisa and all the rest for working this out so perfectly.
    We also found three new Blue Stars there. Cheyene has a piano and Allison has a blue guitar. And the star of the Granada was Delynne's brother, he has a new guitar donated by Soulfixin'( more on them later, remember that name though) Jonathan, Welcome to Blue Star Connection!
   Thanks to the board members and friends who traveled to Dallas to work so tirelessly. It could not have been more needed.
